Senior Fitness Programme – At-Home Personal Training in Cannes, Mougins and on the French Riviera
As an at-home personal trainer for seniors in Cannes, Mougins and Le Cannet, I support people aged 60 and over who want to stay fit, active and independent.

Stay Fit and Independent After 60, Safely
As we age, we naturally lose strength, balance and mobility. Everyday activities can become more tiring, confidence may decrease and the fear of falling can grow. Yet it is entirely possible to remain active, independent and physically fit for many years, provided that the exercise programme is properly adapted.
My Senior Fitness Programme is designed for people aged 55 to 60 and over who want to return to exercise gradually or maintain their physical condition. Sessions take place at home or outdoors in Cannes, Mougins, Le Cannet and the surrounding area.
The goal is simple: to help you move more, move better and, above all, exercise safely with a qualified personal trainer who understands the specific needs of older adults.
Who Is This Senior Fitness Programme For?
Take Advantage of CESU+: At-Home Senior Fitness Sessions from €55 per Hour
Thanks to the CESU+ scheme and the immediate tax credit advance, your at-home senior fitness sessions, normally invoiced at €80 per hour, can cost you from just €55 per hour, subject to eligibility.
You benefit from personalised support in the comfort of your own home, with a strong focus on safety, while keeping your budget under control.
This programme is designed for you if you recognise yourself in one or more of the following situations :
-
You have exercised less and less over the past few years and now feel that everyday activities tire you more quickly.
-
You are worried about falling or losing your balance, or you have already experienced a serious fall.
-
You have joint pain in areas such as your knees, hips, back or shoulders and know that you need to stay active, but are unsure how to exercise safely without making the pain worse.
-
Your doctor has recommended that you resume regular physical activity because of high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, excess weight, osteoporosis or another health concern.
-
You simply want to maintain your fitness, strength, posture and overall well-being so that you can make the most of retirement, time with your grandchildren and your favourite activities.
Whether you are a complete beginner, a former sports enthusiast returning after a long break, or already active, every session is adapted to your fitness level, age, medical history and personal goals.

The Benefits of a Personal Trainer for Seniors

Physical activity adapted for seniors involves much more than simply “doing a little exercise”. When it is properly structured and supervised, it can improve several essential areas :
Balance and fall prevention :
Specific exercises improve stability, coordination and the strength of the postural muscles. This helps make everyday movements safer, including walking, climbing stairs and getting up from the floor.
Strength and muscle tone :
Strengthening the legs, back, hips and arms makes daily activities easier, such as carrying shopping bags, standing up from a chair, getting out of a car or gardening.
Mobility and flexibility :
Gentle joint mobility work helps restore ease of movement, reduce stiffness, improve posture and limit certain aches linked to inactivity.
Breathing and endurance :
Adapted cardiovascular exercises, such as walking, step-ups and simple dynamic movements, help improve breathing, exercise capacity and resistance to fatigue.
Confidence and mental well-being :
Regaining the ability to do things you no longer felt confident attempting, seeing your progress from week to week and rediscovering the pleasure of movement can have a very positive effect on morale.
Continue enjoying your favourite activities to the fullest : gardening, hiking, golf, tennis, dancing and more.
This Senior Fitness Programme has one very practical goal: to help you continue doing the things you enjoy for as long as possible.
By improving your balance, strength and mobility, you can maintain the energy you need to garden without becoming exhausted, go hiking, play — and improve at — golf or tennis, dance, travel, or simply keep up with your family and friends.
Every session is designed so that physical activity supports your hobbies, independence and quality of life — not the other way around.

What Happens During a Senior Fitness Session?
Sessions take place at your home or outdoors : in a park, by the sea, in your garden or another suitable setting — in Cannes, Mougins, Le Cannet and nearby towns.
Individual initial assessment (first session) :
We begin with a discussion about your medical history, any current treatment, pain and concerns.
I then carry out a simple assessment of your mobility, balance, strength and breathing capacity.
Together, we define realistic goals, such as:
-
rebuilding confidence,
-
walking for longer,
-
getting up more easily,
-
losing some weight,
-
maintaining or even improving your performance in your favourite sport.
Adapted, progressive and safe sessions :
Sessions usually last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
They may include gentle exercise, light strength training, balance work, mobility and breathing exercises.
We can use simple equipment such as resistance bands, a soft ball, a stick, a chair, a step or light dumbbells, or work using body weight only.
Progress is made gradually, step by step, so that you improve without placing unnecessary strain on your body.
Regular monitoring and adjustments
Exercises are adjusted according to how you feel, your level of fatigue and your progress.
We can also include specific goals linked to hiking, travelling, looking after your grandchildren or returning to a favourite sport or leisure activity.
The aim is not to make you suffer, but to help you move better, for longer and with greater confidence and enjoyment, in a safe and reassuring environment.
A Safe, Supportive and Personalised Approach
Working with a personal trainer who specialises in senior fitness means :
-
receiving exercises adapted to your age, abilities and any medical conditions, while taking medical recommendations into account when necessary;
-
benefiting from constant supervision of your movements, breathing and physical responses;
-
never being pushed beyond safe limits: you make progress while always respecting your body;
-
having one consistent, trusted professional who listens to you, supports you over time and motivates you with patience and encouragement.
My approach is based on clear instruction, patience and safety, with one main objective: to help you remain independent, active and confident for as long as possible.

Frequently asked questions about the Seniors Program
Do I need to already be physically active to get started?
No, absolutely not. Many of the people I work with had not exercised for several years before starting. We begin with very simple exercises at a pace that suits you, then progress gradually, one step at a time.
What if I have pain or joint problems, such as osteoarthritis, back pain or knee pain?
That is exactly what the programme is designed for. We avoid movements that cause pain, strengthen the muscles around sensitive areas and work on mobility gently. If you have a specific medical condition, we also take your doctor’s recommendations into account.
Ideally, you should start with one or two sessions per week, depending on your current fitness level and your goals. Together, we will determine the frequency best suited to your situation, schedule and budget.
How many sessions per week should I plan for ?
